Неизменно нещо в което си заслужава да се инвестира е Енергията - било то в аспекти на генериране, съхранение или пестене. По-добрата изолация на публични и частни сгради е една голяма потенциална златна мина. Ако погледнете през инфрачервена камера една сграда ще видите как топлината излиза от нея – най-вече през прозорците. Определено има нужда от добра изолация между стъклопакета, или може би заместител на стъкло с добри изолационни качества, има някои разработки в тази насока – аерогел, който Наса използва за уредите пратени на Марс, в момента има фирми които произвеждат изолационни панели на базата на този продукт, но прозрачния му вариант все още е прекалено чуплив … но според мен е добра инвестиция….

Едно от нещата което може сериозно да промени живота ни и дефинира 21 век е търсенето на нови източници на енергия. Паралелно с това ние търсим и по-добър начин да я съхраняваме, за съжаление през последните 6-7 години, от масовото навлизане на литиево-йонните батерии напразно се опитваме да намерим по-добра технология или по-скоро по-добра и практична технология. Пазарът на презареждаеми батерии е титаничен – милиарди устройства имат нужда от тях – телефони, фотоапарати, камери, лаптопи, UPS, а вече и автомобили …
Едно нещо е ясно … човекът (компанията) която предложи технология с дори само два пъти по-голям капацитет от сегашнита литиево-йонна батерия на сходна цена 1. ще забогатее неимоверно 2. ще превземе пазара като горски пожар.
Можем ли да си контролираме политиците?

Съвсем ни е ясно в днешни дни кой и за какво се занимава с политика, парламента е малко като затвора, дори да влезеш там като свестен човек, ще излезеш престъпник, а и няма да искаш да излезеш разбира се. Но все пак – ако имаше начин да съблюдаваме реда и законността с технологични и не толкова похвати, какво можеше да подейства?
Дайте си мнението, може пък да променим света…

Хората винаги попадат на страхотни идеи, когато нуждата нещо да бъде създадено нарастне, в някои от случаите нещата са точно пред очите ви, просто трябва да бъдат направени по-лесни и по-удобни.
Всеки би искал когато пусне телевизора да гледа ориентирани към него предавания, да избира какво иска да гледа. Затова и толкова много хора ползват торент сайтовете, защото всичко е там, на едно място – филми, сериали, предавания, документални филми… ние имаме голям избор и сравнително бързо намираме и гледаме съдържанието им.
Според много хора бъдещето се крие в една интернет базирана медийна платформа, в която хората могат да влизат, да плащат някакъв месечен абонамент (от порядъка на абонамент за акабелна ТВ) и с лесен и интуитивен интерфейс да могат да намерят тяхното предаване или филм, или да си направят собствен канал (плейлист) с предаванията които да се въртят там. Всичко това трябва да бъде достъпно от Телевизори с интернет достъп, в момента такива има на пазара, макар и не много ( истината е че на пазара трябва да се появят голям брой устройства (set-top box) и телевизори с Wi-Fi възможности).
Едно решение би било да се модифицира сегашаната система на торентите така, че файловете да могат да се гледат в реално време, вместо да трябва да се изтегли целият файл, самите торент файлове да могат да се пускат по този начин в плейлиста на медия плейъри. Вече е лесно да се направи много компактен компютър с инсталиран Windows Media Center Edition, който да служи като връзка към вашия ТВ.
В момента има многообещаващ проект в тази насока, и зад него стои не друг, ами собствениците на Skype. Програмата се казва Joost и се стреми да популяризира интернет телевизията до степен в която ще може да се конкурира а един ден и измести конвенционалната телевизия. Joost има недостатъци, разбира се, като всяка прохождаща технология, най-големият от които е липсата на достатъчно и качествено съдържание, а това е нещо, което не зависи от софтуера, а от собствениците на медийно съдържание и нежеланието им то да се публикува там. Друг проблем, е че сайта разчита само на реклами преди и след клипа/предаването и няма платена част, в която евентуално да се гледат качествени филми, сериали …

, we all dream of a all-in-one device that could solve all of our problems and perform all of the tasks we want it to. The industry is sensing that urge and working to create all-in-one devices, currently focusing on smartphones with photo/video/audio/game/os capabilities. Yet a true all-in-one device could be made to perform many more tasks, and do it much more intuitively than current top of the line PDA’s do. Wondering how to increase Blog traffic

I was wondering the other day how could i increase the traffic to my blog. Probably time will be the best stable daily traffic but there has to be a way to make a push at the beginning so people at least see it. I registered in Blogexplosion but it takes forever for the admin to approve your site, meanwhile im stacking credits by viewing other peoples blogs which is fine cause all i do all day is work online, but i wonder, are there more sites like blogexplosion? I mean not mindless traffic sites, there are plenty of those but something with a more targeted audience and more serious traffic exchange …
The Sun in our Near Future

Let’s talk about the sun. Lets talk about it’s power to give life .. and to take it away. As we all now and been told over and over again by scientists and environmentalists the ozone layer is shrinking, and therefore it’s ability to shield us from the deadly rays of the Sun are diminishing. The sun is melting the north pole ice caps, dumping excessive quantities of fresh water into the ocean, raising the sea level, disupting the ocean streams and creating weather anomalies (storms, excessive heat, floodings …) in places never seen before. As we said, we all know that. But how will the Sun change our daily routines in the future? How will it affect our lives?
Have you noticed how the Sun is getting stronger and stronger, during the summer if you’re at the beach and don’t use sunscreen you will easily get sunburn, sometimes very damaging to your health… In 50 years’ time, the Sun will release daily amounts of UVA rays will become very deadly to exposed skin, causing skin cancer in 80% of all cases of prolonged sun exposure. Life outside will be deadly, at least life without protection. Temperatures will be about 50 degrees celsium during the summer, there will be no people on the streets, in the parks, or any open spaces. The only people outside will be the ones that their job requires them to be there, and they will be protected with ultra high SPF sunscreens against both UVA and UVB (100 -200) for couple of hour use -
or environmental suits with in-suit air conditioning and life support systems for several hour – up to a day use. Every home will probably have one of these in case they have to go outside, in case of emergincy.
All of our daily lives will be oriented indoors, all buildings will be 24/7 air-conditioned, all their windows will have a protective UV coating. City-buildings will start to emerge, with supermarkets, shopping areas, theaters, services all inside the building. These buildings are planned as we speak, not for the purposes i list, but more for convniniency, Tokyo will probably be the first city to have such a building complex, a giant pyramid that could house 100,000 people, and everything they need to live inside without ever going out.
Another problem will be safe transportation between buildings, the bigger office buildings will have their own bus transportation, with vehicles also fully air conditioned at all times, and UV protected windows. Cars will be a luxury that few will be able to afford, mostly because of limited parking spaces, and high cost of producing the car, there will still be an old auto-park of cars that run on oil and which are modified to suit the hostile conditions outside, but those will be in underdeveloped areas … Real estate in modern building complexes will go sky-high, most people will rent them. 70% of all people will work from home, on their computers, conferencing with their colleagues in virtual offices.
All work that has the possibility of being done from home, will be done from home, or for the ones who won’t be able to afford the computing power and the ultra broadband connectivity there will be work booths that will be rented on a daily or monthly basis. The heavy industry will mostly rely on computer controlled robots (the ones we have today, only with wider field of tasks that they can perform), farming will be done only in giant green houses, genetically altered vegetables will produce 10x amount of the product we harvest today. There will be no dilemma whether to eat genetically altered food, because it will be the only viable option.
Living and working indoors will have a great negative effect on peoples’ consciousness, 50% of the population will probably be on constant anti-depressants, society will become more alien to the people round them, despite living in small spaces.
Old routes will most likely remain the main transportation network, but only between cities, the underground transportation will dominate urban areas, having a 90% share in more developed cities. Metro stations will emerge under all bigger office buildings, there will be taxi transportation to the nearest metro stations … but thats a theme for a whole different topic …
The idea is that the sun wil be a both direct and indirect factor for a change in the way of life. Temperatures and sun radiation will become major change-of-life-shifters that will make us take a different direction in construction, urban planning, transportation … maybe it depends on what we do now with nature, or maybe it doesnt, but we will adapt, eventually …

Ever wondered what life will be in 20, 30, 50 years? What will be our infrastructure? How would we adapt to our new future, how would we adapt to new inventions, some of which could even shake the moral ground we sit on so comfortably. How would we protect ourselves from future disasters, global warming, flooding, heat … well lets guess
